Book of Revelation

Revelation is not hard to understand! In fact the name of the book means to reveal. It is the revealing of Jesus Christ. If you are studying this book to get enlightenment about prophecy you may struggle with it. The primary purpose of this book is not to get enlightenment about prophecy, but to encounter Jesus personally. It's as if Jesus invites us to see what He is thinking and to look at His plans for the whole of history. It is true that there are a lot of symbols and codes found in the book, but to the believers that John the Apostle was writing to who were very familiar with the Old Testament, these codes and symbols would have been easily understood. There are over 400 illusions and illustrations to the Old Testament in this book. In order to fully understand this letter we must be well versed in the Old Testament.

Our prayer is that you will be launched deeper into a relationship with your Creator, as you see His mind and feel His dreams. We hope that the Lord will reveal to you where you fit in the puzzle of history! Oh, we will learn about prophecy, and the mark of the beast, and all the nuances of eschotology, but primarily may your love for Jesus increase as your knowledge of who He is increases. Reveal Yourself to us, Lord Jesus! Amen.
