We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16), and so we believe whatever it says. The Bible says that Eternal life is available to anyone through a saving faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9-10). The Bible also says that all people have offended God and come short of the requirements of heaven by sinning against Him, but that the free gift of God is Eternal life (Romans 3:23-24). God accomplished access for all into heaven by sending His Son to the earth to be punished for all of the world’s sins. Jesus came to earth and lived a perfect life, and then traded that perfect life for our imperfect lives by being punished for them once and for all (Hebrews 9:26-28). The Bible also teaches that there are three distinct persons to one God; God the Father (Isaiah 45:21), God the Son (Hebrews 1:8), and God the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7). We have noticed that God blesses His Word and so we base every event and activity around the study of it. As a result we have seen God truly make things go well (or bless) for our youth group. As God loves and draws near, we can’t help but love and draw near to Him. |

We had been praying for a name for the youth group for quite some time.
We didn't want anything cheesy or even with a cool ring to it, rather a
name with meaning that would bring glory to God rather than the
ministry. |

We desire to develop a great love and passion for the Word of God in our Senior High students. At this age high school students are making decisions and developing habits that will literally shape and direct the rest of their lives. We firmly believe that the inspired Bible provides them with all the hope and practical wisdom they will need not only to survive in this life, but to glorify God with an intimate relationship with Him. |
